Most digital cameras have a megapixel rating of between 1/2 to 8 megapixels.

Step 1:--Create a PowerPoint with the following:

Include 8 additional slides.  Each slide should have 4 pictures that represent something
about your each of your favorite things.  (Books, music, friends, vacations, shopping, beach, lakes, family, favorite tv shows, movies, etc.)

Step 2:

Using the following information from your slides and the Adobe PhotoShop techniques taught,
create a picture that represents you.

Assignment #-3-Song Project Setup

Song Project Setup

You are to decide on three songs that you want to use in your song project.
From each song you need to take approximately 30 seconds.

The first step is to find the lyrics to the songs online, copy the lyrics into a word document.  Save your file in the following folder: 

Begin looking for images online to use in your project.
You are to save pictures in the graphics folder in the song project folder.

Assignment #-4-Color Project

PowerPoint Exercise:  Your task is to redesign the Communicating with Color PowerPoint :

              1. —Redesign slide one.  Use your own background and include the following information:

            2. —For each color slide:

Redesign Slide 1:  Use the color name as the title of the slide (Be creative in designing your title)  Use the psychological meanings on the slide to redesign and add 3 more.

Product/Packaging Slide 2:  Find a product that uses the color predominantly for the product itself or the packaging of the product.  In the notes section explain why the color was chosen and its intended meaning.

Cultural Meanings Slide 3:  Add the cultural meaning of the color in two different countries (other than the United States)

In the Color Exercise Folder you will find a color book and a global color book for info.  Be sure to check the folder to open up the two files.   There is also an example for one of the eleven colors (red) in the same folder.   To see the example for one color open up the PowerPoint project called Sample-Color-Exercise-4 .

Song Project

Directions:  In PowerPoint, using pictures, graphics, single/few word phrases, interpret a song.  Note:  Song must be approved by instructor.  This is an ongoing project that is worked on when you have time left over in the class.

You are to find the car you would like to own one day. In a new file (10 by 8 inches, saved as Last Name-Ideal Car) you are to do the following:

Create a new background
Create a new license plate
Place someone in the car to drive it (you made include passengers)
Place detailed work on the car (graphics, images, stripes, etc.)
Create new wheels or change existing wheels
Include a billboard with an advertisement

Be sure to use the following tools/elements you were taught: Tools used in the previous assignments where appropriate, color replacement tool, new brushes you create, etc.
